During 2 months, 8 youngsters with different academic profiles worked together to solve the challenge of Passeport Avenir. Their goal : create a digital tool that can help young people coming from underprivileged areas better value their professional skills !

Their solution ? Skill Up : a digital platform that accompanies youngsters in a personalized way, by helping them identify the skills they have acquired during their past expériences, develop these skills and value them in a visible manner thanks to a dedicated interface !

About Passeport Avenir

Passeport Avenir is an association that promotes equality of opportunity and fights against social discriminations. It helps young people coming from underprivileged areas in their studies and their professional careers, thanks to a personalized monitoring program. Their goal : help these young people aim high and be ambitious, whitout any self-censorship !

Since 2006, about 5,000 youngsters were helped every year by Passeport Avenir.

The Nokia Foundation, which was created in 1995, carries out several actions to promote a responsible use of information and communication technologies. As a long-standing partner of Passeport Avenir, they unequivocally accepted to support this program.

The UNESCO, which promotes a responsible and supportive model of development all over the world, supported the SenseAcademy Passeport Avenir program through the Youth Mobile initiative, which aims at enabling youngsters from all over the world to use new technologies as a tool for improving access to education and knowledge.

France Université Numérique is a French national platform which aimes at promoting the development of on-line courses called MOOCs. This initiative was supported by the French Ministry of National Education.
